The Green Johanna™ lid has twist locks on the container over small rodent proof vents that can be

adjusted to control airflow through the container. The base-plate has rodent proof holes that let both worms and air enter the container. Sliding doors make removing the finished compost easy with the aerator that is included. The round shape prevents "cold corners " that can hinder composting. The cone shape ensures the compost does not stick to the sides and instead sinks down towards the center.

Composts all year round due to the unique design.

The winter jacket model can be purchased below that will improve the performance during very cold weather. The winter jacket helps to speed up the composting process in wintertime when the composting process slows down due to low air temperature. The jacket should be fitted when the average temperature falls below 40° F and removed when the temperature is consistently above 50° F. Remove the jacket when the temperature rises.
